Music

Music is a large part of my life. I love to play it regardless of instrument. I love to listen to it as long as its jamming.  I love to see it live especially when its loud.

Being a musician and being in a band has allowed me to do some traveling where I have tasted many a fine dish, drank hardily on local ales, met some amazing people, and been witness to some incredible music.

Being a musician in Atlanta I have found myself mixed up with a group of other very talented artists in the Hijacking Music crew. All the while, having a very genuine appreciation for the impact this thing called music can have on you both mentally and physically occasionally brings me to writing about it.

I am sure in the future I will be involved with even more internet music projects, but as of the last update, below is what I have:

Hijacking Music

“Hijacking Music is a collective of musicians and artists who have united to promote and facilitate creative music and arts.

We hold a high standard for quality in everything that we do, from the artists we promote, to the venues we book at, the sponsors we work with, and all of the external operations required to keep the ship sailing.

We will act as a label by offering resources to artists we believe in to help them get their music and name out there.

Hijacking Music started when a small group of musicians in Atlanta found something they had been looking for and decided to combine efforts. It started by putting on small music and arts shows around town, and even some small tours together.

In 2010 we held the first Hijacking Music Festival featuring 14 stage performances, live painting, and much more.”

Every member of HJM is a very talented artists with a very strong work ethic. These people inspire and energize me, and I am happy to be a part of this vision.
